Hah... the appointment with the nurse practitioner went well for a change. Maybe I'm getting over some of her crazy ideas and maybe she's starting to realize that I can't be pushed about certain issues... Wish I could say that the rest of the trip went well: I missed the 12.25 bus back downtown by inches, so I had to hang around the Burlington Mall until the 1.15 came around. But the upside of that: I got a (marked-down) calender of J.R.R. Tolkien's illustrations for The Hobbit. I'd been looking for one of those page-a-day calenders with stills from the LOTR movies, but there didn't seem to be one this year, though I saw 12-month wall calenders of it, and one of Legolas -- I *MEAN* Orlando Bloom (Okay, I like Orli a lot, but the fanbratz have made me ashamed to admit it; I don't wanna be mistaken for one of those squee-gurlz). But this one's more than just a comprimise: it's something better than what I was looking for.
And I never got a chance to get my print-jobs done at the library, because by the time I got to the library, the high school kids had all nabbed the computers, so there was no getting on one and being able to get home at a reasonable hour. All the more reason for me to get that scanner/printer combo I need/want.
