Paradigm Shift: Long Houseparty Entry

It's been fairly quiet in there, aside from Sieges being in there for three days straight last weekend and then kinda crashing Monday, last week. She doesn't "front", but she's not one of the hindbrain visitors like Argon and his girls. I guess she's midbrain: I sense her feelings and we converse a little bit, but she rarely reacts to stuff in my environment.
Himself has been in and out, but I can sense him and Ref fairly strongly at times. He's shown up to offer his brand of comfort when I hit a few rough spots recently. But he had something very interesting to say during some of the events in the MxO recently: Thursday, March 30th, there was an organization meeting in-game, which Sieges/I was lucky enough to catch. The in-game versions of both him and the Snarky Fellow were there of course; said the headspace version of the King of the Exiles, "At the risk of flattering you too much, I believe that you capture my voice far better than the game developer who serves as my stand-in..." Said I, "Well, we both know why that's so, but most people would just say I really studied, ah, certain performances very closely." I recently got back to work on "This Shouldn't Be Happening..." which gives him no end of amusement, to someone else's chagrin...
Flood seems to have become the strongest bond lately: He's in there half the time, snarking and sneering at things that go on around me; I have to admit, his commentary has been helping me keep things in the right perspective, or at least it makes me laugh. Though I think I ticked him off yesterday when I told him he sounds like Jack Benny's British twin sometimes, he hasn't said a peep since, but I know he'll be back. One of the critical missions in the MxO featured this line at the end of a communique from his "shadow-self", "Hm, I think I'll put on some Moussorgsky".
Headspace!Flood: "Well, at least they got the genre right..."
Me: "Ooh! You like classical music, too?" ((I already knew this, of course...))
Hs!Fl: "Of course I do, it's the only stuff I can listen to without feeling like someone scrubbed my ears with a nail file."
Me: ::Knowing better than to argue the matter...:: "All right, but the question is, do you like Moussorgsky?"
Hs!Fl: "As long as it isn't that over-played series of musical sketches."
So for his benefit, I put on the only Moussorgsky album I have, which would be the orchestral version. Funny, the "Promenade" theme fits our boy's personality...
Hs!Fl: ::A few moments into the music:: "Do me one favor, woman: Get a recording of the piano version, though that effort is probably beyond your means at the moment."
Headspace!Merv: ::Air-conducting the orchestra, until I realized what he was doing and he realized I was watching him...::
Of course I ignored Flood's yarking. I got back at him by getting back to work on You Know What Fic.
