Gratuitous icon post, ahoy

My first animated icon *EVAH* and I am beside myself with pride at how well it came out. I made the frames over the weekend and earlier today, I downloaded and installed Gamani's GIF Movie Gear: dangest simple program to use. And as of a few moments ago, I created the little delight you see next to this post.

Yep, it's the anti-Damned Book icon I've been threatening to make. I haven't been able to come up with any, so I figured that obliged me to make one. Next up, I'm gonna animated my DC/Vertigo emblem so that it spins around, don't know what possessed me to come up with that idea, but it tickles me. And I've got an idea poking me for a hysterical "Matrix" parody icon inspired by that crazy "Llama Song". anivad, your "Neo Song" helped inspire it... I'd be honored if some day you did a "Mero Song"....

Personal recommendation? Make the "So Dumb..." text part last longer, so it can be read.

I can't help but giggle at the new icon. It's somewhat (Read ridiculously) funny. Though the last image goes by kind of quick.

Is is just me or is Tom Hanks looking a little "Miami Vice"-ish there? Will we be seeing a white suit jacket and pink shirt next? (Please God, no...I'm old enough to remember THAT unfortunate phase of the 20th century...)

Mero Song... Never thought of that... thanks for the idea! I didn't know many other Matrix characters with two-syllable long names, but I guess that works as well.

I'll let you in on a sneak preview of the captions for the frames:

Here's a Mero, there's a Mero,
And another smirking Mero
Angry Mero, horny Mero
Mero, Mero, Flood

The last two "Mero" frames will be concept art from the "Matrix Online"; I should probably have left the "duck" in at the end, but I couldn't quite leave out the Mero's snarky second-in-command (who seems to get the best lines in the game...). That one-syllable name of his fit in too well for me to leave out.

Or, hm. I could leave the "duck" in and use a picture of a roast duck, non?
