Headspace visitors

matrixrefugeeI said there was one yesterday: there's been a few more show up, and they're all female.
Well, I found out why the Merv seems to have been avoiding my headspace lately and why Flood has been present but very quiet, which is unusual for him: the other night, I was watching TV with my folks, and a DSW shoe store commercial for a special on ladies' sandals came on. I realized someone in my headspace was... not drooling, I guess a better term would be "delicately interested". I reached into headspace and mentally asked "Who's in there?" I can't remember what exactly was said between the visitor and I, but in the course of the exchange, I discovered the visitor was Persephone. I wish I was making that up. Don't worry, Puck, I'm not trying to swipe her from you, even though the chronology you created for her for DegSep is very different from the things she's shared with me the past few days. She appears to have nipped out for the moment. I just hope she doesn't come back when Himself is around. I don't want to be privy to one of their knock-down, drag-out marital spats.
Then today, when I was bagging at work, I heard another female voice commenting on why the air smelled differently and asking what kind of place I was in. I mentally told them to give me a moment while I finished my task. As soon as that order was done and there was a lull, I reached into headspace again; first, I asked the visitor who they were. Come to find out, I've got the movie-verse version of Aeon Flux in there, and her sister Una (still alive, DNA not yet "reassigned") joined the conversation. Try explaining grocery stores to someone who comes from a world where you buy your food and such from open-air markets. And *then* try explaining computers to them while you're trying to type this entry: technology and nature are more integrated in Aeon's world than in ours. I'm not sure what to make of having a Monican assassin in there, but she hasn't bothered anyone yet. Sieges practise-sparring with her doesn't count: they challenged each other to it, as soon as they found out they're both freedom-fighters. It's been fun to watch them at it (especially considering that one of them can jump over a nine story building, and the other can catch a fly with her eyelashes), and it's interesting listening to them comparing notes, though I seem to have detected some brain-breakage from Aeon when Sieges tried explaining machine intelligence to her.
And yeah, it seems like the girls are more noticable when it's *THAT* time of the month for me. The boys keep their distance....
