Appointment in Lowell

There's a mix-up with keeping me on my dad's health insurance, and my therapist is trying to straighten it out. Just feeling really discouraged about it, which is causing me to feel like life would be so much easier if I was already in the afterlife. I'm not feeling suicidal, I'm just wishing things were easier and less stressful, when life itself is already stressful enough.

Rented "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill"; I had a free coupon in my inbox, and I've especially been wanting to see this lately, since we've got a certain loose parakeet fluttering around the neighborhood. I didn't see him today, but there again, there was construction going on, so that might have scared him away.

Lately, I know that feeling well. I have been suicidal, to an extent, in these last months -- every day we're scratching to keep the roof over our heads, to eat, to function, to work. I just got a new job, but the pay period is so far off as to not even be relevant right now.

You've gotten through the hard parts so far. God speed.

'No matter what life throws at me, it isn't going to get rid of me that easy. While there's a whole load of stress out there and the world is generally a pain in the rear, there's also a lot of good stuff like cosplay,A.I,the internet, parrots that need catching ect, so I'm just going to stick it out.'

I tell myself more or less the same thing whenever life's getting to me, only in my case it's a bit less polite. Usually it's accompanied by junkfood and/or a video marathon. It usually does the trick.
