matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (MxO_Sieges)

...Niobe is dead...

Apparantly, her lieutenant Anome turned against her, which didn't surprise me, since the guy practically defines "loose cannon": just recently, I'd heard he'd tried to force a bluepill woman to unplug, against her will. First words Sieges said on hearing this, "That's practically ontological rape." At least this eliminates the subplot with Niobe acting like one of those OMG IMMA GUNNA KIL TEH EVOL MERV!!!11111 Sues that have innundated FF.N....

And in other news, Sieges is trying not to pine away from desire, but she's definately itchy and there's only one Exile who can scratch it, but nothing seems to be working. I'm thinking of ditching her storyline and just going with the flow of things in-game, but that's a little painful right now. I shouldn't invest emotionally in things like this, it only hurts later when they don't pan out.

*hugs*

Sorry to hear things aren't working out for Sieges regarding a certain chilly Exile.

I'm a little concerned I might have horribly embarrassed the game developer who plays the Snarky Fellow (who is, in actuality, a female dev known in the community as "Rarebit"), but I've made it clear that this is *only* intended to advance my character's plot, and that the only thing required would be to accept a small symbolic item in trade, namely, a key (to a chastity belt that Sieges is wearing when she's jacked in). There was a horrible incident way back in the early days of the game (long before my time, but I've heard about it from some of the older and wiser players in the faction that I'm in), where the actress RPing Niobe got horribly innundated with lewd comments from horny fanboys and she ended up leaving the game in shock.

...and when did this become ONLY a game to you?

I hope you got our comments, btw. We have been leaving 'em, to let you know we did still care. *shrugs.* But hearing that kind of news, whether it's MxO CRAP or NOT... quite that casually?

yYeeeeah. No.

Having watched the MxO "movies" up until now, I can safely say that Niobe had her own very good reasons for gunning for the Mero. I barely played the game, and I can tell that he was the one who hired The Fly That Walks to kill Morpheus.

And killing Morpheus is a damn fine way to get on my shitlist.

Still, have the MxO game-developers got a hate-on for the interesting humans from the original Matrix series? Pfeh.

Well, this gets interesting:

Turns out Niobe isn't *dead*-dead, she's in limbo, held hostage in a construct rigged up by the General (a powerful Exile whom Niobe had gotten in cahoots with, in a bid to overthrow the Merv).

I like that concept better, more head-bending.

Oooh, that is interesting!

Please continue with plotline advances as long as you're still playing the game? Because I am interested in seeing how they handle this world. It's very interesting.
