Pip the parakeet's back!

None of us had seen him around for over a week, and I was starting to worry that something had happened to the wee fellow, or that someone else had caught him and given him a home. But as I was walking home from work yesterday, something startled a flock of birds on our neighbor's lawn, and I saw a little yellow and green widget flying up with the sparrows and starlings that had been poking around in the grass. I looked up into the tree they'd landed in, and while I couldn't see the little scamp, I could hear him making those distinctive angry budgie squawks!
