Huge, massive storm!

I somehow knew today we were going to have a huge, massive thunder, lightning and rainstorm, which according to the TV news when I came home, also caused golf ball-sized hail and funnel clouds in some parts of the state. The storm started an hour before I was supposed to leave work, and it had started to abate when I punched out and headed home... but as I was crossing the street, the sky cracked open and the rain came down in torrents! I was drenched to the skin by the time I got to my door, but that doesn't bother me in the least. Free shower!

I'm in the northeast, which is why the funnel cloud was so incredibly news-worthy: we rarely get those.
