Not much to post since I've been busy...

Work has been keeping me busy, and I've been writing more lately. I'm taking up more of the 31_days challenges that I have horribly neglected, and I've been tinkering with some too-long neglected fics in progress. I recently posted the last chapter of "Along a Knife's Blade", the "A.I."/"Blade Runner" crossover I'd started a long time ago -- and oddly enough, I posted that chapter almost two years to the day since I posted the first chapter.

I'm also getting back to work on the infamous "This Shouldn't Be Happening...": I still wish someone would take up the challenge of drawing a few tastefully and sensitively rendered illustrations for it. To the chagrin of a certain headspace dweller, who's been having terrible knee-jerk reactions ever since I resumed work on it. Every time I spot a pregnant lady at work (and for some reason, there's been a bumper crop of them; wonder if it's people really wanting kids, or they're just copy-catting all the Hollywood actresses who suddenly decided to have kids...), I can sense *someone* in there getting nervous.

And I'm looking at my notes for the equally infamous "A.I."/Harry Potter crossover-fic. It's all I can do to keep from including a pair of characters loosely based on a couple of MxO player characters, including Sieges's future alter-ego, and her good friend/crush/faction commander/object of terror "Baron Samedi" (not his real name, IC or OOC.). They appear to be either some sort of Mecha-enhanced humans or human/Mecha chimaerae, can't figure out which. Looks like these two would be some sort of assassins, but I can't for the life of me figure out how they'd fit in, though it seems to have something to do with the insidious Dr. Lambert Merove's "Project Quinotaur". I'll figure it out.

Odd: pregnancies seem to be abounding around here, too. Must be a seasonal thing. To them I say- Better you than me, sister!
I've really had the desire to make a short, 31-days-ish fic that's been running through my head, but I'd need to use Gaston and Harlen Pan in it, if only in parts and not from their POV...would I have your permission, provided I actually get enough energy to write it?

Anyway. I feel bad for Brat Pitt. I think Angelina is way too independant to be able to settle down... I think personally, he needs someone to settle down with, and Angelina will never do that ...

Yeah, I've been working on this very carefully thought-out "Matrix" Mpreg fic -- mind you, it's more about the science fiction and less about the squickening aspects; some friends of mine and I were discussing the remote possibilities of... that sort of fic in the "Matrix"-verse, and one of them challenged me to write a fic and make it a good one -- for almost a year now, and I've been hoping someone would do a few character illustrations for it.
