Pizza at the beach

matrixrefugeeDay one of our family vacation: the three of us went to Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA. Before we actually got there, we stopped in the downtown part of Gloucester and got a pizza at little mom and pop pizza joint across from a lovely park near the shore. Watched the boats on the water and a drawbridge going up to let a cabin cruiser pass through down a canal. Then when we got to the beach someone's very friendly minature bull mastiff kept sniffing around us, looking for some of our pizza... and then some seagulls came lurking around! "Rats with wings" to quote one of the characters in "Finding Nemo"
And my dad has added a row of lit plastic jack o'lanterns on stumps along our driveway as well as a light-up purple spiderweb.
The "Supernatural"/MxO crossover is actually developing a plot. Before, I just had an idea for the climactic fight scene, now it's taking on shape:
Following a tip from a friend of their dad, the Winchester Brothers travel to Capitol City to take on a vampire known as "Diabolique". Their success catches the attention of a guy named "Fafnir" who appears to have ties to the Mob: he wants the brothers to take down a reaper-like being which has supposedly been decimating the poorer elements of the city. At the same time, they've crossed paths with an odd but friendly little girl who calls herself Sieges, who takes an interest into their work. What they don't know is that they've walked into a Mob family dispute that could cost them their grip on reality as they know it...
