Spooky stuff fun
Sep. 18th, 2007 11:03 pmFeels like autumn and it's starting to look like it, too. Just back from looking at crazy Hallowe'en stuff in a local K-Mart, including but not limited to:
-- A talking skull on a platter that belts out Louis Prima's "I Ain't Got Nobody" (No Body. Get it?) and which also said in a very Bob-the-Skull-like voice, "Come right over here, right where I can see you." I swear the designer of that one has to be a Dresdenite.
--Another talking skull, this one in what looked like an antique birdcage, jumping up and down and yammering "Let me out! Let me out! LET ME OUT!" Said I, "Ooh, Harry must have really gotten mad at Bob for something or other..." (which reminds me, didn't TV!TDF episode "What About Bob?" have a bit where Morningway had Bob's skull inside what looked like an antique birdcage...? Hmm.....)
--A small shelf of fake "haunted books", one of which slides in and out on it's own as they chant something like "Stories of evil, stories of fright/Stories to haunt you in the dead of night."
