matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Tolkien_Quote)

I was unable to get a Tolkien-themed calender at the Burlington Mall Borders' calender sale. However, I *did* find one based on the lovely "Dragonology" books, so I'm having fun with this one and it's nifty little inserts.

My nerves still feel like they've been replaced with razor wire, but another visit from Mark last night has blunted some of the edges. While talking with him, I got an idea for a third installment in "A Woman with an Issue of Blood", which would cap off the story and make it almost novel-length, as well as bringing the story full circle. Let's say that a situation of mentor and student in Geordie's past winds up with roles reversed and in so doing, a tremendous kindness is repaid, but in a tragic way...

:: Smiles warmly:: No, no reason to sic the Hounds on you at all. We all have our moments when we feel humbled by the awesomeness of someone's creation and when we feel like we can't measure up to their creativity. Heck, I have moments like that all the time. The thing is being careful to not let feelings like that overwhelm us. Please don't think I'm criticising you for pulling out your stories: far from it. I have to admit, I miss your stories and I've wondered what they might have become if you'd continued them. If you'd like to repost them to the Yahoo! Group, feel free to do so! I'm not as active in the fandom as I would like to be, but I still very much admire and love the film and the creations that it's fans have made, inspired by it.
