Had my once a month trip to the Salem, New Hampshire Barnes & Noble while my mom had an appointment with her therapist. I'd told myself I wasn't going to get the season companion books to seasons 1 and 2 of "Supernatural"... But I spotted them in the film and TV book section and I couldnt' resist. This after seeing the "Very Supernatural Christmas" episode this week (That one is in my top three favorite SPN episodes, the others being the one in the first season, featuring the faith-healer and the reaper; and the trickster episode from the second season). I also own the first graphic novel in compilation form... the two tie-in novels... and the "Guide to Ghosts, Demons, Ghouls and Monsters"... and every issue of the magazine I could get my hands on (which helped me get through the darn writers' strike). I guess we know what *my* favorite TV series is.
And here's something I thought would never happen: My dad is going away on a business trip, ie. a plant growers' convention in Columbus, Ohio... and he's actually going there on a plane with his boss and one of his co-workers. Mind you, he's not keen on flying, but there's a first time for everyone. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a safe trip, folks. Thanks!

I've heard there's going to be a whole chapter on various critters, both mythic and some invented by Jim Butcher himself, and another chapter on localities outside of Chicago. I assure you, if I was GM'ing, I'd be coming up with a ton of ideas for campaigns set in Salem, since there's just so much, ah, source material there. :: Winks:: If only I could find a group of folks to play it...
