Just found this via the MxO forum. A woman seeing the sun creating a rainbow effect through her lawn sprinkler is convinced that the government must be putting something in the water or the air to cause it. I don't know if she never learned how rainbows are made -- which I *know* we covered in First or Second Grade Science -- or she's paranoid schizophrenic:

Unsuprisingly, this has been posted and duely snarked on GAFF. Personally I'm of the opinion that the women in question is off her meds.

Yeah, that was my conjecture on seeing it: my mom's oldest brother was paranoid schizophrenic and used to go off his meds once in a while and spout stuff like this, usually about the FBI tapping the phone, thus causing static on the line...
