Note to my esteemed customers

Cold weather is cold, mmkay? It is winter. In New England. It gets cold here. It snows. This is a fact of the climate. No, global warming is not a good idea. It destroys creatures and their habitats and will eventually be the death of us. Including you. It does not necessarily mean we won't have any more winter. In fact, there are some climatologists who are predicting we could see a mini ice-age in a few decades. The reason being: what happens when ice melts into something? It cools it off. If the ocean cools off, the landmasses will as well. So we may wind up with cooler weather than we have now. Mother Nature does not cater to anyone's whims but her own. Remember when you used to whine and your mother used to say, "Stop that whining, or I'll give you something to whine about?" Yeah. She's more than capable of doing that. And I have a feeling she's letting the global warming happen to do just that.

Is it me, or are children, skiers and poets the only people who like the snow (I fit categories 1 and 3)? I swear, a good portion of the adult population in my town sold their inner children on eBay for gas money.

Is it me, or has the Dragon Cave site been exceeding its bandwidth on a regular basis today? I keep getting "Firefox failed to connect to dragcave.net" error messages every time I click someone's dragons.

I hate being cold, and having to go out in snow, but I'd prefer trudging through it than rooting for global warming.

... though, I know people who are rooting for it just to sadistically watch humankind get popped in the face for whining.

Regarding the people who like snow list, I'd like to add students (since snow often leads to snowdays), dedicated oddballs (eg me), and dog owners (dog + snow = nutty dog). That is, when it's proper snow which is a fairly rare occurence over here. 90% of the time it turns to watery slush in seconds which is just crap.
