I want to thank everyone who left all the kind and thoughtful comments on the post I made Sunday night; I'll get down to sending individual responses once I have some tea and chicken soup. As it seems to happen every winter, a little kid sneezed in my face yesterday and now I seem to be fighting the same bug he's "had all week" according to his mother. I hear that in Japan, when you have a cold, you're expected to wear a surgical-type cloth face mask when you go out in public; I wish they'd start doing that over here.

Oh, yes, dragons... I'll be draggin' myself to bed now...

I've been taking Airborne religiously, and I'm starting to feel a little better.

I'd love to see a bunch of people wearing surgical masks in everyday situations and locations, like the supermarket. It would be like living in a world gripped by some kind of plague. Maybe an airborne zombie plague.

Heh, that would be different, non? I actually spotted a woman with a face mask last year, so this might start to become more familiar as time goes by...
