Two ladies and a guy chatting in the dealers' room at Boskone (ie. the New England Science Fiction Association's annual convention), about strange things that happened at previous cons, like the bridezilla whose wedding happened to be hosted in the convention center, and how she threw a hissy fit over "all the freaks and geeks"; or the fundamentalist Pagan who threw a similar hissy fit over a Catholic Mass being said, whereupon someone (ie. the guy sharing the story) took the interloper aside and informed them "This is *their* sacred space; leave them alone". I think this was the year the con was held the same weekend that the Unitarian/Universalist ministers were having their convention (which was also sharing the same floor as Boskone), which was probably what sparked the conversation.
