I knew this was coming up, but I wasn't sure of the exact date. I remember hearing Dion DiMucci, in the course of giving a talk on his long journey back to the Catholic Church, talking about how hard this tragedy hit him, and how he started going down a dangerous road afterwards (and how his wife kept him from completely self-destructing). So sad... but at least their music and their legacy lives on...
