Battling a cold

Urk. Just before the busy season sets in, I come down with a sore throat. So I stayed home from work today and I'm zealously taking Airborne, an effervescent vitamin supplement/herbal cold remedy, to beat the cold symptoms into retreat. I'm feeling better already. My object is to get myself better so that I'll be able to deal with the huge volume of orders I'll be dealing with all week next week... and so I won't be a "mucus trooper", ie. someone who comes down with a cold but goes to school/work anyway and then spreads the germs to everyone else. I remember getting a nasty flu bug that way from a co-worker in the bakery in the other store I worked for...

* Joins the Airborne bandwagon. My boss is sick as a dog and I can't afford to get sick right now. If I can also recomend something else for chest congestion, it is ALJ by Nature's Sunshine at the health food store. It's awesome.
