Herro, Frurry (Hello, Flurry)!

matrixrefugeeEeesh, I need to lay off on the anime, as I am now breaking into Engrish from time to time...
Been a while since I posted an update on Flurry the baby budgie: he's settling in very well! We were a bit concerned for him till about a week ago, since he was certainly very chatty and chittery and he sings from practically the moment he's uncovered in the morning till he gets covered at night, but he wasn't very active physically. He would hop around in his cage, but he wasn't touching his bird toys at all.
Now, he seems to be making up for lost time: he sings to his water dish and his seed dish. He hops up on his clothespeg perch and chitters to it. He stretches waaaay up to talk to one of his bells. At night, he gets down on the floor and chatters to his reflection on the side of the base of his cage (we call it "talking to Floor-Buddy"). He climbs on the side of his wooden ladder (he's still funny about perching on the actual rungs but hey, it's his toy). He walks through the bottom-most ring on his string of colored rings. He sings and gnaws on his cuttlebone (sometimes simultaneously!). His eyes still haven't turned grey yet (which means he's grown up) but he's still only maybe four months old; he still had a speck of black on his beak tip when we brought him home, meaning he was still pretty little, maybe six or eight weeks old. He's still really skittish about being petted, but hopefully he'll get used to it.
