NaNo restart

Just reactivated my NaNoWriMo account, after several false starts due to Website Errors of Various Kinds. I'm planning to devote this year's NaNo to Neon Enoch Evangelion -- Part Three: The Nephillim Variation, though that means I'll effectively be doing what Richard Wagner did with his famous "Ring Cycle": he wrote the fourth and final part, "Goetterdaemmerung" first, then went back and wrote the other three operas to flesh out the backstory. I may still peck away at the first two parts during the NaNo-ing, but we'll see. I've got most of the plot for Part Three already fleshed out. And in a moment of karmic retribution, it looks like it's morphing into one of my post EoE fic pet peeves, ie. the "Angels are coming back, Project E gets restarted" scenario, but there's a twist to it which I'm not going to reveal just now. It's not a reboot of the Eva-verse the way so many student writers have gone (though a well-written and plausibly done reboot would be neat to see). I'm kind of going the route of the manga "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Record of Heaven's Door", which I just started flipping through via scanlation sites, in that the conflict is a bit more down to earth (no giant cyborg mecha to be seen).
Things we will be seeing in Part Three: the first human-Grigori child in a millennium, the next generation of NERV at work in the Massachusetts facility (One thing, as a native of Massachusetts, that makes me good-crazy about the Eva-verse!), the return of the Grigori, the price which people must own up to for past wrongs, and a new threat from the very beings who helped rebuild the world (and very likely some slashy fanservice from Enniel Prussot)...
I'm just not sure right now how it's going to end...
