matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (NaNoWriMo 2008)

And I'm hoping to get another 800 words written before tomorrow, since I have errands, I'm on call for work, and I will be making my once-a-month trip to the Salem, N.H. Barnes & Noble:

Much of today's work dealt with: more of Fuyutsuki's journal entries: I have a "thing" for what are sometimes called epistolary or artifact novels, ie. novels where some or most of the text is in the form of letters or journal entries written by the characters. Some of the earliest novels in English were written this way, though some are a bit unrealistic about it, ie. the letters/journal entries are absurdly long and detailed to the point that the character would be spending more time writing than living the experiences described. Writing this way helps me create some "wayposts" in the plotline, plus it's just plain fun to peer over the Professor's shoulder and see what thoughts he's jotting down about what's going on in his world.

Also one rather lengthy bit where Enniel makes Fuyu-sensei an offer he can't refused. Andrew Collins hit the nail on the head when he described the Grigori as a "supernatural mafia"...
