"Criminal Minds" Episode 100

I'm trying to keep it as spoiler-free as possible, but...

Oh my...

I know when Haley ditched Hotchner two years back, I yelled at the screen, "Die in a fire, you ungrateful bitch! You don't throw out a modern day St. George like him, like he was yesterday's newspaper! If you can't be happy with him, one day you'll regret this, when you face down the kind of dragons he slays every day and he's not there to protect you or avenge you because you broke his heart! If you won't make him happy, there's dozens of fangirls who will, and I am one of 'em!" But now... I'm eating my words.

Also good to see Hotch in a righteous, blind fury. Slay them dragons, Aaron! We're rooting for you!

Somehow I was thinking of both the manga "Lone Wolf and Cub" and the movie version of "Road to Perdition" as I was watching this. Kudos to the sound editors for heightening the "Road to Perdition" effect by erasing the sound in key places, filling it in with similar ghostly-sounding music.

you see, I followed Criminal Minds until about eps 22 Season 4, then I stopped coz Supernatural took my life. During the summer break (of SPN), I was about to pick it up again but a friend told me not to, not until Season 5 started, because yeah, she knew I wouldn't like the ending of Season 4...

Yeah, I'm in a blind love with Hotch that bad *laughs*

But now, thanks to this post, I know that he's still in Season 5, I think it's time to pick it up and not worry about it anymore *facepalms*

Yeah, the season 4 finale had me going "Whaaat?! They can't do that to him!" I was fearing the worst, but I toughed it out: the subplot arc which started with that episode and ended tonight was a subtle one but very much worth watching.
