SPN Season 5 Finale: Why I Missed it...

The main reason is because yesterday was Ascension Thursday and I ended up going to the later Mass at Mary Immaculate in Newton, with my folks; I had every intention of going to the earlier Mass at St. Joe's in Lowell, but I woke up too late to catch the bus, due to not feeling well since I'd had a rather nasty allergic reaction to some hair remover that I'd used. I've missed most of this season anyway, due to deciding to stop watching it on our TV because of A Family Member Who Will Remain Unidentified grumbling when I had it on. I can deal with people asking questions, but a constant mantra of "this is stupid... this is stupid... this is stupid..." got to be more than I can take. I can deal with people not liking things that I do, but if they are sharing airspace with me and they are slamming it when I am trying to watch it, or if they start slamming it in front of me when I am trying to talk about what I like about it, that is a major dealbreaker for me.

Thus I'm avoiding spoilery entries on folks' LJs and waiting for the DVDs to come out (which likely won't be till September).

I hate that- watch it or don't, but don't heckle! Unless it's The Notebook, because that's a terrible movie.
