matrixrefugee: the word 'refugee' in electric green with a background of green matrix code (Autumn_Road)

My table fan is running and I've had to use the fan in the stand for the laptop for the past few days because of the disgusting tropical weather we've had for the past three days. I don't mind rain and clouds, since I'm sensitive to the bright sunlight, but do we have to have this over the top humidity?! It feels like the first of July, not the first of October, and thus my motivation to work on the [livejournal.com profile] halloween_31 fics that I signed up for. :: Mutters::

Last night, I had been planning to type up the ones I'd written, but a sudden windstorm knocked out the power in our neighborhood for over an hour. I had the laptop on, so it kicked over to the battery and managed to get some typing dine, when I wasn't hunting for candles and oil lamps.

Someone roll Strauss in honey and throw her to some energy vampires, stat. Or give her to Muraki for a test subject. Removing JJ is like taking the heart out of the BAU family. It was one thing when Mandy Patinkin left the show because of creative differences, and things managed to move on, but this is -- pardon the pun -- criminal. Bad, bad move, CBS. If they're removing her because a personal decision that AJ Cook made, that's one thing, but just removing her to jazz things up, if that's the case, is poor planning on their part.

And why is Reid sporting a haircut that looks like Edwierd Cullen's?! Are they trying to appeal to the Twhinelite crowd (after the subtle jabs they made at Twhinelite during the vampire episode last season)? I like him with longer, looser hair (though the fringe he had during the second half of last season was adorable). Minor thing, yeah, but it bugs me and I hope he grows it out soon.
