Oh yay--I just had a chance to see Inception a few week backs, and I really liked it!

I love both your fics, the second has a bit of the slightly elusive, nebulous atmosphere of the film, but the first sounds like the sort of crazy and funny situation the characters would find themselves in!

I love these! Can we hope to see more in this vein from you ;) ?

I actually wrote the second one first (longhand, in a journal, while having lunch at a coffee shop), but I typed it up this morning, just after I finished posting the first one. I imagine the team has had some pretty crazy things happen to them, and I'm hoping if there's ever a sequel, that there are a few dryly funny moments in the dream world on the lines of a carpet of cats.

The second came into my head complete the moment I saw the prompt. I love the sort of thoughtful freshness that Ariadne brought to the team, and while she strikes me as the kind of girl who doesn't normally take unnecessary risks, she has an almost childlike sense of awe about dreamsharing and I could see her taking a moment to just let herself play in a dream she's constructing. Gotta love the chemistry between her and Arthur: he's like an old-fashioned gent looking out for his lady.
