matrixrefugeeI was physically getting on the bus when I discovered I'd forgotten to put on my wristwatch before I'd left the house, so I had to rely on public clocks downtown (clocks on computers at the CyberCafe, in the library, the big clock on the main drag...).
I managed to get most of the computer stuff done that I needed to do, including updating the "AIFFOA", as outlined last night; plus, I also placed another order to Amazon.com: William Irwin's follow-up to "The Matrix and Philosophy", which covers the sequels and "The Animatrix" (I only just found out about it) and the second "Matrix Comics" book (I'd get the first, but that one features the original comic that was the basis for part of "The Animatrix: Second Renaissence, Part 1", which freaked me out completely.); and I did a little housework on this LJ: Check out the new fanlisting buttons I posted on my Userinfo page...
I also nipped into the library downtown: I still didn't find Neil Gaiman's "The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Fish", but I found a few other good things, including the soundtrack to the 2001 version of "Ocean's 11". I saw that movie this past Christmas, and despite my then-immoblized condition, I enjoyed it thoroughly: great script, great acting and what a great soundtrack!!
