Disks and road work

The road is still closed in front of my house, thus the bus didn't take the indirect route, which goes right down my street. I had to get it on Main Street, after walking through the mud and over the broken tarmac on my street.
I had enough time to print out some stuff for my mother and to burn a copy of Lambert Wilson's "Musicals" for
ladynyks. I'm working on a disk for you, too,
dark_puck; have no fear. What ate up my time was wrassling with someone's awkward ZIP files of "Catwoman" screencaps, trying to sort out the usable shots of the Only Good Thing About That Film.
And some good news: After almost three weeks, caiman.com finally sent a confirmation email that they shipped the CD of "Pas Sur Le Bouche"... What took them so long??? I've been sweating bullets, wondering where it was all this time. I was almost going to ask Amazon what had happened to that order; good thing their distributor sent that message when they did, I was starting to lose patience.
Plus, I'm also juggling ficlet-writing and typing jobs: The DegSep fic dealing with Derek and Emily's admirers is wrassling with Chapter Four of "The Smoke of Satan...", with the lion's share of my attention as the prize. Aggh... good thing I decided to stay home when I was unexpectedly called in to close tonight... I'd literally just gotten in the door, and I was tired from my errands, when I got the call.
