It's been a very boring day...
Oct. 5th, 2005 11:39 pmQuote in the subject line comes from a Shel Silverstein-esque kids' poet whose name escapes me now, but it'll probably come to mind when I'm trying to go to sleep later.
Boring day at work today... and the road continues to be torn up... and I called the Staples in Salem, New Hampshire, only to find out I'd have to pay a sales tax on my comp, since they're shipping it here to Massachusetts and they have stores all over the place down here. So, we'll be ordering it from the Staples down the street from us, tomorrow night. I just have to withdraw the check for it.
And the road continues to look like a freeway in hell: the annual repainting of the yellow lines down the middle just took place, and the line-painting truck just bogged down in the stretch of road that's ripped up, which happens to be right in front of the house.
And the Merv has the soulbond equivalent of cabin fever: I've been told he's been causing trouble for another SB'er... ::Sighs...::
