Forget zombie apocalypses...

We got a mass suicide and vampire apocalypse going on! M. Night Shayamlan and the wonks at White Wolf would be having a field day, except it's really happening here. I've been trying not to stare in horror as I watch people's sense of self-preservation break down, causing random crowds to throw themselves under buses and large trucks, or herd like lemmings onto bridges. The ones that manage to survive wish that they hadn't made the attempt and are only too willing to let themselves be turned by the vampires, which unfortunately swells their ranks. Of the humans who haven't lost their sense of self-preservation, the rest are being systematically turned by force, drained or taken into captivity to be used as kine.

I am so not looking forward to being my own version of "I Am Legend". I'm holed up on the second floor. I tried to warn Mom and Dad, but they insisted on going out to pick up a few groceries. More to come...

Hee, I'll explain: yesterday, being Friday the 13th, was "Blog Like It's The End Of The World" day, a day when mischievous bloggers imagine their own wierd end of the world scenario and blog about it. Apparantly, it's an event that takes place any month where the 13th falls on a Friday, so there's chances it can pop up more than once a year.
