Joe, from A.I.: Artificial Intelligence of course. Because I am rather curious, with many people it's that they find the character "hott", but with you it always seemed to be something deeper.

a. My favorite thing about that character. -- I love just how incredibly innocent he is, despite what he's programmed to do: it might seem dissonant at first, but it somehow works (kudos to Jude Law for that incredibly balanced performance)

b. My least favorite thing about that character. -- Besides the fact that he's not real? ( :: Laughs::) Hard to say, except for the fact that he's, shall we say, always on the make?

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse. -- Besides Jane... If something happened to Henry, I could see Joe offering some comfort to Monica and her refusing it gently, but accepting him as a friend. Unrequited love has always fascinated me and always tugs at my heart.

d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat. -- I wrote a fic with him getting pested by the girl-bot from the movie version of "Bicentennial Man", and I'm wondering what would have happened if some of her peskiness had been toned down a peg.

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater. -- A crack plot involving Greek mythology: Hephaestos created Talos the robot who guarded Crete (if I remember correctly) as well as two bots who helped him in his workshop, so who knows but he might not have come up with a way to create an analogue to our Joe...

f. Their ship from hell. -- Bevins. I have seen it done. It wasn't pretty. >.<

g. Their song. -- Besides "I Only Have Eyes For You" by Dick Powell, I'd say "Just a Gigolo" by Louis Prima and for Joe and David, "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor

h. The title of their biography or autobiography. -- "Behind Electric Eyes"

i. The last bad dream they had. -- Hm. Joe doesn't dream, but I imagine if he did, it would probably involved something dreadful happening to David.

j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already. -- Canonically, he's probably been dismantled, but I like to think that somehow, some of his programming went into the Specialists.
