FIC: "Full Belly and a Warm Heart" ("Yami no Matsuei", Muraki/Tsuzuki, PG)

Based this off a prompt on comment_fic: I'd started writing it based on one prompt, which had a line in it that fit Muraki's snarky tone very well, but then someone scoffed the prompt. I quickly found another on the same page and continued working on it. Just a bit of Muraki/Tsuzuki fluff. I have an especial place in my heart for it, as it's just damn cute and funny (plus it's also a chance for us to see the gentler but no less gleefully creepy side of Muraki; could even be carpe_ho_ras canon, with a post-reform Muraki). Besides, what's cuter than Tsuzuki when he's overdone it at the dinner table?

Hee, isn't it? I'm particularly proud of this one (and it's also the source of the minor kefuffle in headspace when I briefly entertained the thought of the Mansion's magic messing with Tsuzuki's high metabolism just enough to put a little meat on his bones. Muraki loved the idea, Tsuzuki not so much, and thus he's now sulking at me.)

Wow! I liked this story, a lot. It was sooo cute and adorable, that I couldn't help smiling gently all the way. To be honest, I was kinda hoping for more Muraki/Tsuzuki interaction and maybe, dare I say it, even a kiss? But still it was well-written and surely enjoyable. Thank you! : )

I'm planning to remix/extend this one and post it to An Archive of Our Own or FanFiction.Net soon, once I finish a few other fic challenges, so when I do, I'll be linking the remix version to this journal. It's one I'm particularly fond of (I'd die happy if someone with better drawing skills than me would fanart it), and probably the only reason it's this short is the fact that at the time I was trying to keep it comment-size. But there will be second helpings in time... :: Winks::
